Our theatre-lab for everyone is a cross-cultural, multilingual and participatory project. It was brought to life in 2016 as a creative space where people who have - or haven´t - had to flee their country, can meet and come together. Each season we find new ways of expressing the particpants´ individual living situations through guided collective theatrical play.
This season is dedicated to the topic of romantic relationships and love. The starting point will be text passages from one of the most famous failed love stories in theatre: Kasimir und Karoline.
Together with our cooperation partners we take a closer look at relationships and confessions of love in different languages. We ask ourselves: How can love actually be lived in a time of capitalism, globalisation and migration movements? The workshop will also be about the emancipatory and political potential that have shaped our idea of love.
At the end of our workshop there will be a multilingual reading theatre in our Theaterwerkstatt. In addition to that, we will visit our theatre production Kasimir und Karoline
This workshop is free of charge for everyone!
